Possibly the largest piece I have made so far, a generous combination of rewarewa (bowl) and ebonised rimu (stand). The rewarewa was initially cut by myself from a fallen tree, and then prepared and dried over the course of nearly three years. A complete start to finish process except for the hundreds of years this tree spent growing.
